Wedding ~ Tanja & Ben

Tanja & Ben were married at the Botanical Gardens... again a beautiful locatation to photograph a wedding at! The rain stayed at bay until their reception... so that was wonderful! Because they had a tent that covered the whole backyard of their home for their party, so everyone stayed dry. It was actually a very lovely set up and I was quite impressed with Tanja's talents. Not only did she do all the floral decorations herself, but also she prepared all the food for the reception beforehand! Amazing! Wedding ~ Christina & Tracy

Christina & Tracy held a very small intimate wedding at the Denver Botanical Gardens. With such a small group attending approx. 13 I had plenty of time to photograph them with every person present as well as travel all over the gardens to take more romantic photos of them. The rain again stayed just out of site and we were able to get some beautiful cloud cover that helped with the lighting for the photos. Wedding ~ Jessica & Ryan

Jessica & Ryan were married at Mountain Thunder Lodge http://www.mountainthunderlodge.com in Breckenridge, CO today! The original plan was for them to get married at Maggie Pond in Breckenridge, however mother nature had other ideas... it rained most of the day. But that did not put a damper on their big event. Mountain Thunder had a fabulous back-up plan in place and the couple were married at the same location as their reception. It was still very beautiful and when the clouds parted we were still able to do some fun outdoor shots! I just love the photo on the bottom... Jessica came up with a very original idea of doing musical chairs for the giving away of the boquet and it made for some very fun compettion and even more interesting photos of the ladies fighting for the flowers! Wedding ~ Colleen & Anthony

I was feeling very creative at this wedding... I guess it was partly seeing how much in love this couple was and partly because it made me think of my own wedding coming up... 3 Weeks to go! Ahhh! I think I really had no idea how much it took to plan a wedding until I decided to take on the task myself... I have a lot more empathy now that I've been through it!
Colleen & Anthony were troopers and let me work with them to get some amazing shots! The rain stayed just out of reach for us, but gave us a beautiful overcast sky that was wonderful for photos! Headshot ~ Tim

Tim contacted me for a last minute headshot/portrait that he needed for the website of the company he works for and I was happy to oblige. I decided to put my sample up here in color since the one they will be using will be in black & white.
He is a realtor for Mile Hi Modern which is a real estate agency which specializes in selling & buying of homes with a modern contemporary look to them. What a niche! I think the homes on their site look fabulous!

Senior ~ Kayla

Another friend of mine has her daughter graduating from high school this year and contacted me to have her photos taken. Kayla and I worked together today to create some beautiful portraits of herself. She was really interested in having more of a green nature feel to her photographs. So we went to a nearby park that I knew had some beautiful flowers, trees, and shrubs. Thank goodness we did the outdoor photos first because a rain storm came up this afternnon! Senior ~ Alisa

Alisa came all the way from Gordon, Nebraska to have her senior photos taken by the famous, Jamie Waite! Okay... so I'm pushing it there, I'm not really famous, yet! But she did travel from Nebraska... her aunt Joleen is a friend of mine and mentioned how Alisa was looking for something different, unique, and very Colorado for her photos... so that's where I came in... We did a day trip up Boulder Canyon to the falls to get some awesome shots of her and the gigantic waterfall and we only had one casulty... a flip flop.. is now surfing it's way back to Boulder. And then we did some indoor portraits in my basement studio. I think we got some awsome shots! Senior ~ Derek

I photographed Derek's brother, Brandon approx. 3 years ago for his senior portraits when my business was just beginning to take off... and his mom contacting me to do the same for Derek. One thing I can say about Derek is that he is a very charasmatic guy! And a absolute joy to photograph... I always think that men are harder to photograph then women because there are less poses that you can do and usually they are in a hurry to be done with the photos before they even start.
