Wedding ~ Carmela & Scott

Our associate photographer, Kimberley covered Scott & Carmela's special day today. As I was up in the cool mountains of Vail she was in the hot city of Denver at The Oxford Hotel. My husband, Michael was there as he was also the DJ for the event, but I heard he also helped out with some of the formal shots as well! Even though we were having a scorcher of a day you couldn't tell on the looks of this couples' faces! They even took their photos to the street... literally! I'm sorry I missed it, but it looks like Kimberley had it covered! Looking forward to booking her out for more assignments come 2008!

Wedding ~ Kimberlee & Zachary

There were so many great photos of Kimberlee & Zachary that I had a hard time picking just a few to post on our blog! What an amazing wedding and couple... you can see the love in their eyes! Kimberlee booked us last year as a referal from a previous wedding I did two years ago and we never even got a chance to meet until a couple months ago, but I could tell just from her enthusiasm on the phone that this was going to be a fun one to work! Plus I got to go back up to a church in Edwards, CO that I love to work at called Gracious Savior Lutheran Church and photograph the reception at a location I had never been to called the Donovan Pavillion in Vail, CO.

I also really loved the idea that they came up with and highly suggest it to anyone else planning a wedding... they wanted me to take a quick portrait of just the two of them right after the ceremony before the hussle and bustle of the receiving line and family photos... which resulted in the photo of them in front of the mountain above! They look absoulutely giddy and in love... I LOVE it! Again Awesome day... awesome couple

Thank You ~ Hosbein Wedding

Victoria picked up her proofbook today and brought me this lovely "Thank You" card! It's amazing how quickly time flies! It has already been a month since we shot their wedding! WOW! This summer has been so very busy and there are two months to go yet! I'm trying to give a quick turnaround to the weddings we already have done and most of the work should be done here shortly and you will be receiving a call to pick up your proofbooks... weddings scheduled for the end of the month and in to July may have their proofbooks pushed back a bit due to the large dance school we just finished shooting so that I can get all of that done... thanks for your patience! And looking forward to all the weddings yet to be covered!

Wedding ~ Erin & Adam

Rain, Rain, Go Away come again some other day! Change of plans for Erin & Adam's wedding at The Terrace Gardens at Ken Caryl... it had to be held indoors, but luckily it cleared up afterwards to still get some great outdoor photos! This was my second wedding here this summer, but to me it looks nothing like the first.... amazing what a little rain can do to my creativity process. It was time to start thinking out of the box and looking for unique indoor shots! The wedding was still a smashing success despite the little rain and fun was had by all! Wedding ~ Barbara & Shawn

I had the privilage of photographing a wedding today of a couple I never had a chance to meet until the day of the wedding. Barbara and Shawn live in Florida, but decided to get married in the mountains where Shawn grew up thus bringing them to the Silverthorne Pavillion in Colorado. Katie & Mike were married today at Terrace Gardens at Ken Caryl. The rain kept away until after the ceremony and all of the photos... so it made for some really lovely light for their photos. A beautiful place to get married with excellent service. We had a lot of fun with these guys and hope they did as well. Update - JA Graduation Video

Copies of the Jefferson Academy Graduation have been completed and delivered to the school with the exception of those that shipping was paid for in advance those were also mailed out today 6/4/07. The school will have a sign-out sheet for those who paid us directly the night of the commencement ceremony. There has been some confusion about our video and the slide show DVD of all the seniors. The slide show was done by the photography company hired so you will have to contact them for a copy of that and likewise if you thought you were getting a copy of the graduation ceremony and you didn't you will have to contact us... we will still be taking orders, but from this point out we will have to charge the extra $3 for shipping. The school is open until June 8th from 9am to 2pm so if you already purchased a copy of the video & didn't pay for shipping you'll have to act fast and pick those up at your earliest convenience.
