Whether you want to use that fabulous family portrait we took on your Holiday Greeting card or your favorite wedding photo on thank you cards to your friends, now you can do it from the comforts of your home and have the cards mailed directly to you!

Happy Halloween everyone! We just also received this note in the mail from Brian & Jessa... This has been a wedding that we were almost as involved in as doing our own! It was awesome being more a part of the planning and execution then we usually are... I think it brought us closer to your family and friends and allowed us to share in special moments that we otherwise would not have captured! Audra stopped by to pick up her photos today and brought us this cute card with a little extra tip for us! Thank you so much you two. After sharing this with my husband, Mike, he told me that he received one of the greatest compliments he could have received the night he was DJing your wedding... He said Grant came up to him and was so impressed that almost every guest was dancing... Grant said he had never been at a wedding where everyone was so involved with the dancing! Mike was very happy.... I always say he reads crowds very well... and can tell what is going to work the best for them! Case in point a full dance floor all night long! Best wishes to you both.... I'll be looking for your call after the first of the year if you want to do those family photos! Thanks again!

Happy Birthday Mr. Nickel! Stephanie, the daughter-in-law called me just two days before the 80th birthday celebration of her husband's father... the entire family was due to be in town for the celebration and would I be able to do a family portrait?! Sure!
Well, the weather wasn't really cooperating for the outdoor photo with the mountains that we planned, but we managed. I set up a backdrop at their home instead. What a charming and hospitable family! I hope they will enjoy these photos for years to come!

Julie and Carl have gotten a jump start on their summer wedding plans. We just booked them for our three service package deal: photo, video, & DJ with my husband's company Digital DJ. It's an awesome deal... so if you are thinking of having all three services at your wedding give us a call... you'll regret it if you don't!
We added on the engagement session so they could have one of our amazing photo guest books! So look for their sample book to appear on our website soon. Another great couple who are going to be a lot of fun to work with! They picked the amazing Della Terra Mtn. Chateau for their wedding in July!
They are saving some bucks by having their wedding on a Thursday. Just thought I would put that tip out there for any of you who are planning a wedding and want to find ways to save money! See if the venue and other vendors will give you a discount for having a weekday wedding. Another great option in a tough economy!

I met Jillian & Mark in Boulder after they got off work today to take some fun engagement photos! These guys are corny and fun! I can't wait to do their wedding in February! We do have a few winter weddings booked this year, quite unusual... but maybe becoming more of the norm as it is a great way to get off season rates at venues! Should be a lot of fun! We even have a "snow angel" photo in mind! Look for their guest book to appear on our website soon!

We have just returned from covering our first destination wedding in St. John, Virgin Islands. Our friend and fellow photographer Jessa married Brian on the most beautiful white sand beach imaginable! We were privileged to be a part of the entire week's activities including multiple trips to the beach, sailing, a pig roast, snorkeling and more! Not only was it a dream wedding, but also a dream vacation for us (Mike and I never took a honeymoon!) We faced new challenges like traveling with all of our gear and trying to keep the sand out of our cameras and lenses, but all in all everything worked out great. We have some amazing photos from the couple's special day as well as from the week of the trip!
We hope this leads to new adventures... Mike and I had so much fun we are thinking of pursing destination weddings on a grandeur scale for other couple's from Colorado that are planning on a wedding out of state or out of the country. The nice thing about hiring a local to cover your destination event is that you can deal with all the other things at home like ordering prints and albums. In some cases doing a destination wedding means you may not get a chance to meet all of your vendors... which in regards to photo and video could end up very badly! So hopefully we can help out a few of you beach bound couples in the future!

We will be covering Lauren & Devon's wedding in December at the new Della Terra Event Center in Estes Park... this is their inaugural year! We are very much looking forward to this wedding not only because of the new facility, but also Devon & Lauren are close friends to Mike and I. Before the wedding though we needed photos for both their wedding invitations as well as their photo guest book so a more formal engagement session was in order. Luckily the weather cleared up right before the session and we ended up with a great day for photos!

Another fabulous wedding at Willow Ridge Manor. Clouds loomed over us most of the day, but we only got a sprinkle. Making it a cool beautiful day not only for a wedding, but awesome photos. Got a little creative with Audra & Grant's pics... doing a little bit of night photography... so if you get a second check out all of their photos in our online proofing site. Was also excited to see that the venue has had a paint job since the last time we were there. The red front door really stands out now! Mike and I traveled to South Dakota this weekend to provide services at the wedding of an old and dear friend. One of the biggest memories I have of Andy from nearly 10 years ago. When I was first starting out in my career I took photos of him and his dog, King at the park. Andy told me once that some of his most cherished photos were the photos I took that day... and well, it made me feel like what I was pursuing as a career was meaningful to everyone I work with as well as fun, rewarding, and creative... so little did he know he gave me some of the encouragement to become the photographer that I am today! So when we heard he was getting married I just knew I had to be their photographer! Mike and I met Sam for the first time at the rehearsal dinner and knew right away that they were going to be a perfect match! So again.... we were happy to be a part of your "BIG" day.... can't wait for you to also see the finished video. We had a fabulous time... saw lots of old friends and hopefully created memories for you that will last a lifetime!

Just posted photos from Erin & Scott's wedding at the Rocky Mountain Hog Roasters Event Facility. As always Don & Prim did a fabulous job with the catering, the ceremony was lovely... and a perfect day for it... missing all the rain we had earlier this summer. I loved the laid back feeling Scott and Erin had to their day... they wanted more of a BBQ hang out feeling and they got that! The guests enjoyed frozen margaritas along with music provided by my husband's DJ company - Digital DJ.... and I even reminded the couple how much fun it would be to take the Paddle Boat out for a spin on the pond for photos... some of my favorite photos came from that! Scott and Erin's wedding was the epitomy of FUN! Enjoy the photos online and we'll catch up when your proof book is in!

It has been almost ten years since I've been back to The Event Center at Church Ranch, which is surprising since we live and work so close to it! Some of the very first weddings I ever photographed were here when I worked for another company. The gardens are still as beautiful as ever and they have done a lot of improvements on the event center itself... they are even hosting bands there once in a while on off wedding nights. It's a really great location to get married at. Stan and Robin had a great mid-week wedding there... lots of guests, food, and fun was had by all. I hope you two had a beautiful honeymoon and can't wait til you get back to see your video and photos!
