Keystone ~ Mardi Gras

We went to Keystone, CO over the weekend to celebrate Mike's 30th Birthday. We haven't been out of town since our honeymoon back in Sept. and again that was only for 3 days as was this short trip. Business has kept us close to home this year. It's been over two years since either of us has skied or snowboarded and I felt it, for sure! I miss it... one of the reasons we and I'm sure the reason many others fall in love with Colorado. But I also love what I do for a living so the past few years has taken up a lot of my time so we haven't been able to find the time to head to the mountains. Mike's birthday landed on Fat Tuesday this year! Keystone does Mardi Gras up and we had a blast and possibly one to many hurricanes. But here are some photos I took of the parade, I didn't take any on the mountain this time around as I was feeling a little unsteady after getting back up there for the 1st time in years!
