Wedding ~ Lesly & Anthony

Today was the first wedding we've done that felt like being in the movie, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" It was big, it was a blending of two cultures, and it was a lot of love! I've had to work on a short time-frame for group photos, but never as one as short or with this with many people! I thank everyone for their patience with us in our hurried approach and apologize for getting only the bare essential group photos as we only had 20 minutes after the ceremony at St. Dominics before the next scheduled wedding! But I'm also amazed at what we were able to do in that time limit! Thank goodness the couple wanted to do some additional photos of just the two of them at Red Rocks. We got to share a lovely limo ride with them provided by Classy Limousine. The chauffeur, David was accommodating in every way to our requests for drop off points for special photos and even let our videographer, Taleen stick her head out the sunroof for a unique perspective on our arrival to Red Rocks.
Then a lovely reception was held at The Radisson's Graystone Castle. You could tell these two were loved by the amount of hugs from the guests! The mother of the groom even got into the spirit of the moment by singing to the couple! It was amazing! Their photos are now posted on our online proofing site! Enjoy!

Wedding ~ Heather & Darius

It has been a couple years since Mike and I had covered a wedding at Stone Mtn. Lodge in Lyons, CO so I was both excited and happy to be back there... first of all to see all of the improvements they have made over the past few years. They now have a lovely tent on site all summer to hold receptions in... complete with chandeliers and a wooden dance floor... also their gardens are all grown in now and of course I still love the ducks in their pond (so cute). It's a great location that really feels like Colorado! We didn't get to meet Heather or Darius before the wedding as they were another couple that had met in Colorado but had since left the state to start their lives, but since all of their family was here they decided to have their wedding in Colorado instead of where they live in Florida. For having planned the entire thing via the internet I think they did a wonderful job! They chose one of our favorite caterers The Food Guy to provide the meals and of course my husaband's DJ company: DigitalDJ to provide both the music entertainment and the presentation of the slideshow that a friend of theirs did for them. We did have a little rain, but it cleared up before the ceremony so everything turned out perfect! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day!
