Presenting a Check to Fight Cancer!

I was privileged to go with Heather Hoffman & Fred Lewis to present a check to Planned Parenthood of the Rockies today in the amount of $1500.00 that we raised back in October. The Alexandra Campaign will be setting up a fund through Planned Parenthood where any women between the ages of 18 and 25 can go and get vaccinated for the HPV virus that causes cervical cancer. This also hit home for me today as I spoke to my mother on the telephone and she relayed a story about a business client of hers who passed away this week from cervical cancer caused by the HPV virus and although I never met the women it hit a cord with me as she was only 32 years old... only two years older than me! Please, please, please... get vaccinated. There is finally a vaccine out there to prevent cancer and everyone should not only be made aware of it, but it should be available to anyone who wants it. Wedding ~ Jean & Alonzo

Jean & Alonzo were married at the Embassy Suites in Denver today. What an amazing atrium, which came in handy for what I hope was the last snow of the year... it wasn't much of a storm, but it was cold and we did get a dusting. The day went off without any problems and the couple appeared to be very, very happy! We were lucky enough to find Jean & Alonzo through two of their friends that held weddings last year that we photographed... and it was fun to actually know some people to chat with at the wedding!
Did I mention the wedding colors! Awesome! They looked like they were meant for that location and were perfect for Spring! Video ~ Cinderella / RCA

The Rising Curtain Theatre Academy has hired us to cover a few of their upcoming performances... today we videotaped the young actors performing Disney's Cinderella Kids. Our favorite part was the pumpkin!! Thanks for having us a part of your performance. Edited videos will be available by next month's performance of "Once Upon A Mattress"

Northern Electric, Inc. ~ Corporate Event

We covered a business meeting for Northern Electric, Inc. today. We were at the Doubletree Hotel in Westminster for this event. The main photo that they wanted was a group photo of all the managers... I arranged a high vantage point before the event with the hotel and had an assistant to help with arrangement... this made for a great shot when we didn't have much to work with... no outside area that was suitable... Thanks again for your business it was a great time.
