Engagement ~ Dawn & Brian

Dawn & Brian are real troopers... not many people like to meet me at sunrise for a photo shoot, being that it is usually around 5 or 6 am! But not only were they up for it, Dawn suggested it! She had picked out a really great park in Greeley that frames the mountains just "so". Our sunrise only lasted a few minutes because of cloud cover, but we still ended up with some gorgeous shots! I'm really looking forward to this couple's September wedding... it will be the last one we do before Mike and I tie the knot ourselves... so I have a feeling I'll be in a particularly romantic mood!

Corporate Video

Today Mike and I went to Lone Tree to videotape the CEOs of The Egg and I resturant chain for a streaming web promo. Even though we were just there to tape them it was great hearing how much they care about their businesses. Mike even mentioned as we were leaving how they made him think he should invest in one of their franchises... some of you may or may not know that he and I have had many years working in restaurants both before and after college while getting our photography/multimedia business off the ground and had thought about running a resturant some day. Anyway, it's a great concept and something to think about in the future... As for now the video shoot went great and we were privilaged to meet some great people!

Bridal Portrait ~ Elizabeth

Elizabeth is one of my earliest returning customers. She found me this past fall while searching for a photographer to take her engagement portraits of her and fiance, Tim. She was so excited about the results of that photo shoot that she wanted me to do some bridal portraits of her as well. Her and Tim are getting married in Texas this June so I will unfortunately not be photographing this attractive couple at their wedding, but I am happy to be of service to them for their other photographic needs! Elizabeth really wanted a Southern Belle feeling to her bridal photos so I suggested using the Willow Ridge Manor in Morrison, CO. Because of the late snow fall we didn't take many photos outside, but luckily this facility has so many beautiful indoor areas that are great for photography! She is going to be one of the most beautiful brides I've ever seen!

Wedding ~ Maggie & Mark

We did the first wedding of the season today... it had been nice taking a few months break from photographing and videotaping weddings, however I was still very busy meeting with couples... designing albums and editing videos... so it's kind of nice to be back to doing what we do best! Getting behind the camera. Maggie and Mark were married in our local town of Arvada so we didn't have to travel too far for this one and their reception was held at the Indian Tree Golf Club within minutes from our home studio. Even though we had a little rain it didn't spoil their day and left a beautiful rainbow afterwards that I got some shots of! The day flew by so fast! But we had a lot of fun following these two! No April Fool's About it!
