Wedding Video ~ Vanessa & Domonic

Vanessa & Dominics's wedding was at the start of a very busy weekend for us... I usually call it the last big push of the wedding season. We still have a few weddings booked this month, but holidays always seem to bring the most scheduled in a weekend. This wedding took me to Steamboat to videotape their special day. The couple was married at Holy Name Catholic Church downtown Steamboat Springs which was thankfully indoors due to the midafternoon showers we encountered. The reception was held at the top of the gondola on the ski mountain... spectacular views, lovely location, and great food and luckily the skies cleared so that guests could get there from below! My husband's business partner for Digital DJ, Fred was their emcee for the eveing making it all the more fun to be there as I always think he does a wonderful job! Lot's of love and luck to you both! Wedding ~ Laura & Quinton

Laura & Quinton were married at the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster,CO with a reception following at the Omni Interlocken Resort. What a unique themed wedding... butterflies galore, which just happens to be one of my favorite things as well... see our logo... probably one of the things that first caught Laura's eye! One of my favorite shots is the flower girl crying as she walked down the pathway in the atrium... her mom loves butterflies, but she certainly did not! Even though it was a little traumatic for her this photo will forever capture the moment and I'm sure 20+ years from now when they're planning her wedding it will be a great photo to bring out to remind her of how she participated in such a fabulous butterfly wedding!

Album ~ Anderson Wedding

Finished an album for the Anderson's a couple who's wedding was last September... it took them a while to get their images to me so consequently running into our hectic wedding schedule in the summer made it harder for me to work on so I did little bits here and there until I finally got their first draft done as I really wanted them to have something to view before their anniversary! Wedding ~ Tonna & Eric

Eric & Tonna celebrated a very renaissance wedding held at Rocky Mountain Hog Roasters' facility in Arvada, CO. According to the owner, Prim this little known jem has been in operation for just under 3 years. The couple has converted an older home's property into a lovely park for weddings, picnics, reunions, and more!
It was the perfect place for this couple's casual and fun wedding. The men in the wedding party all wore kilts and swords! It was definately unique. They even cut their cake with a sword! Wedding Video ~ Liliana & Bruce

What an amazing love story that truely shows love has no boundaries! I had originally scheduled this week off to return home to South Dakota so that I could help my mother at her store, Frontier Photo during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as I do almost every year, but then as some of you may know I had a knee injury this summer so I decided early on to ask her to find addtional help as I didn't know if I would be up for a week's worth of work! So consequently, I had orignally had the weekend off, but then I got this phone call from Bruce a week out from their wedding to do their wedding video and since I was feeling great and knew I could do it I said yes! Apparently his fiance, Liliana came up from Columbia on a 90 day marriage visa so they didn't have a lot of time to plan their wedding and video was one of those last minute items. I was excited to do it, especially since we've pretty much been booking both photo and video together all summer and I've just been doing photo... it was a nice change! What an amazing couple! And I'm happy to provide a service to them that will allow Liliana's family back in Columbia get to share in the events of the day! They were married at Colorado Community Church in Englewood with a reception that followed at Gabriel's Fine Cusine in Sedalia.

Wedding ~ Sharyn & Dave

We covered Sharyn & Dave's wedding reception only... this couple opted to have a very small courthouse ceremony with a reception later with friends and family. We met at Washington Park downtown Denver beforehand to do some formal portraits of them with their families. The reception was held afterwards at The Radisson Hotel at Stapleton. Since they didn't do many of the tradtional wedding elements such as cutting the cake etc. I was looking for more things to add to their photos... when I saw the large staircase outside the ballroom I suggested doing a photo of everyone present at the reception! It was a big hit and quick and simple to do... what a treasured memory!

Just received this thank you card from Carmela & Scott from their 6-24-07 wedding... it's great seeing how much they are enjoying their photos! I will be working with them in the next couple months to put together their wedding album as well so I haven't seen the last of them! Congrats again you two!
